A Paris-Based Designer Revisits Her Lyon Projects
On my way down to southern France for the holidays, I made a detour through Lyon to check in on two of my past projects — and it made me so happy 🌟
First stop: an apartment I designed several years ago. A few signs of life here and there, naturally, but the owners have kept it in wonderful shape — a genuine joy to photograph. This home holds everything I believe about comfort and aesthetics, woven together with the clients' own needs to create something truly theirs. We sat for a while, chatted warmly. A lovely reunion.
Second stop: a Korean restaurant. Every table full, a buzzing atmosphere, and that immediate rush of recognition seeing my design alive in the space — this time animated by the hum of happy diners and the smell of great food. The owner greeted me with overwhelming warmth, telling me how pleased he's been, and sharing that many customers regularly praise the ambiance and dining experience.
Hearing all of that... it means everything. The feeling that every bit of effort was worth it. Turning a space into somewhere people love, and becoming friends with your clients along the way — there's truly nothing better. Every trust placed in me, every kind word, is what keeps me running full speed down this path called design 💕
