Before the renovation: a peek inside a Parisian home

I've just finished measuring up this 80 m² Haussmann-style apartment in the 9th arrondissement. Come and take a virtual tour with me!

The first thing that catches your eye as you walk in is the Bauhaus-style furniture: paired with the vintage feel of the Haussmann architecture, it creates a surprisingly harmonious mix, and you can tell the previous owner loved a design classic ~ Even the kitchen has been carefully painted with geometric patterns that echo the red sink and handles.

Beyond that, though, the courtyard-side bedroom, the kitchen and the toilet are a total disaster: poor natural light, wasted space, and generations of landlords patching things up until it was frankly hard to look at. A single load-bearing wall separates heaven from hell.

Next up is the big job of giving it a complete overhaul and filling this home with its new owner's vision. I can't wait for the ideas to flow! ✨
